![]() Not shore if this idea could be the cause of the issue: the Marantz power plug only takes Hot and neutral, but the Moon takes all 3 (Hot, Neutral and ground) could the noise I am hearing on the speaker be the result of differences between tow different reference grounds, If so how can I solve this issue? Connect the speaker to the Power Amp, with the RCA cables connected just to the power amp Result: same result has the line above (almost no noise) Connect the speaker to the Power Amp, with no RCA cables connected Result: noise drops a lot Using the Marantz setup reduce the speaker volume Result: I seems there was no changes on noise. Change the cables that go from the Marantz to Moon from Belder 8204 to QED Reference Result: still got static noise but with a higher frequency, probably related with the fact that the QED does not go has low as the Belden. ![]() ![]() Re order the components on the rack in order to try and reduce the electromagnetic influence (between devices) Result: no improvement Improve the way the cables are connected so there is no wires crossing/ touching power cables Result: no improvement The Power amp I got is a Moon 760A, that should have virtually no noise coming out of it. The issue I am having is related with noise (static noise) on the front speakers, when they are powered by the Power Amp. Currently I'm using 3 speaker, 2 for the front and a center channel (3.0) configuration. I have a Marantz SR8012 and recently decided to buy a Power amp to drive my front speakers. Not shore if this is the right thread for this question but here it goes.
